The Register Committee of
Forum ETHIBEL
All
external experts of the Register Committee demonstrate in-depth
knowledge and experiences in the respective study areas (corporate
ethics, environment, industrial relations, economics and ethics,
human rights and international relations).
These experts are
on the Committee in a personal capacity and in no way represent
the organizations from where they acquired their professional
knowledge.
The completely independent
nature of this body guarantees an in-depth judgement of company
profiles and sector studies.
The members of the
Register Committee
- Dirk Ameel
is the Executive Officer of EUROCADRES (Council of European
Professional and Managerial Staff). He shows a special interest
in topics related to the North-South divide and corporate
social responsibility.
- Bo Johnsson
is a retired economist from the former ICFTU (International
Confederation of Free Trade Unions; today ITUC), has a background
in the Swedish trade union movement and he also worked for
the ILO. He has been teaching at the Stockholm University
and other universities. He is working as Consultant on Corporate
Social Respon-sibility for EIAS now (European Institute
for Asian Studies).
- Luc Hens
is a biologist. He is currently professor at the Free University
of Brussels (VUB) in the Human Ecology department. His research
focuses on sustainable development and instruments for environmental
management.
- Eddy Laurijssen
is the former Deputy General Secretary of the International
Confederation of Free Trade Unions and former Director of
the ILO Office in Brussels. He is a lecturer at the International
Training Center of the ILO in Turin and Board Member of
the "Vereniging voor de Verenigde Naties" (Belgium).
- Luc Van Liedekerke
is an economist and philosopher. He teaches philosophy and
business ethics at the Universities of Leuven and Antwerp.
He is the President of the Register Committee and member
of the Scientific Committee of Vigeo.
- Stephanos Anastasiadis
has finalised doctoral studies at the Nottingham University
Business School's International Centre for Corporate Social
Responsibility. He has a professional background in environmental
and social issues, notably in the European policy environment.
