Forum ETHIBEL continually
selects and monitors companies.
The inclusion of companies in the register is carried out
with the greatest care and the assesment is as much as possible
done in relation to the sector. With the inclusion of a particular
company, Forum ETHIBEL does not judge other companies operating
in the same sector.
The list of companies in the register is in a state of constant
flux. New companies are added regurarly and sometimes stocks
may be removed. For the latest version, Forum ETHIBEL should
always be consulted.
The inclusion of a company in the investment register is based
on the Ethibel rules and regulations. Balancing the financial
pros and cons of a particular stock in the registers remains
the full responsibility of the fund managers.
The use of the Ethibel Registers in the context of fund management
is subject to a mutual written agreement
between Vigeo and the 'user'. Without such a contract nobody
may use the wordings "Ethibel", "Ethibel Label",
"Ethibel Sustainability Index" or "Forum ETHIBEL"
for an investment portfolio. Forum ETHIBEL nor Vigeo can in
no way be helt responsible for any damage or loss as a result
of any investment based on the Ethibel Investment Register.
The inclusion of a company in the register does not mean sticking
an "ethical" or "socially responsible"
label onto that company. Inclusion in the Ethibel Registers
means that a stock complies with the Ethibel selection rules
and regulations, which may lead to the labeling of an investment
fund. This does not make a company "ethical" or
"socially responsible" in itself.
Short profiles only provide a brief summary
of more complex technical dossiers. Forum ETHIBEL assessments
are based on a variety of information sources, that are considered
to be reliable and trustworthy. However, Forum ETHIBEL will
not accept any responsibility if the contents of these documents
are disputed.
Vigeo and Forum ETHIBEL monitor and re-assess Register and
Index companies on a continuous base. Being a member of the
Ethibel Register cannot guarantee the "ethical or CSR
behaviour" of the company in the future.
